David Charlot, PhD, Executive Chairman and Chief Innovation Officer at CBio, presented today at the 20th SoCalBio Conference. This annual event showcases Southern California value-based bioscience innovations and explores efficient pathways to bring them to market. CBio was part of the Tools & Instruments track as one of the emerging companies selected to represent the innovation made in SoCal.
Dr. Charlot showcased CBio’s Bias-Free Live Cell Analysis platform, which will help researchers win the war against drug resistant bacteria. With cellPhoresis™, researchers have a better way to characterize bacterial organisms implicated in diseases like Antimicrobial Resistance and make better treatments.
