Surrey, UK - Mark Hayes, PhD, Chairman of CBio’s Scientific Advisory Board, gave a talk at Dielectrophoresis Conference 2018 (DEP 2018) last July at the University of Surrey, United Kingdom. Dr. Hayes presented Ultrahigh Resolution Cell Separation using Dielectrophoresis on Monday, July 23. Full program can be found here.
DEP 2018 was organised by the Dielectrics and Electrostatics Group and co-sponsored by the AES Electrophoresis Society and FACSS. It was the third international meeting on Dielectrophoresis.
About Dr. Hayes
Mark A. Hayes is a professor in the School of Molecular Sciences at Arizona State University, where he serves as an active researcher, mentor, teacher and colleague. His academic career has produced significant results across several disciplines within the analytical, clinical, biological, and physical chemistry communities that includes aspects of engineering, physics, biology and medicine. While contributing to the knowledge base, he has energetically and creatively supported the wider profession at local, regional, national and international levels. The event brings together an outstanding and diverse group of scientists at the forefront of research in the areas of dielectrophoresis and nonlinear electrokinetics. The subject area of the conference is AC electrokinetic methods in general and the application areas of dielectrophoresis in particular, including DC, insulator methods and liquids.
